Project Loom

Project Amber
Project Amber is possibly the most known of the new Java projects to the developers. It delivered already some features as var, new Switch expressions, and has others in preview as Records, Text Blocks, Pattern Matching, and Sealed Classes. Project Valhalla
Announced in 2014, Project Valhalla aims to explore and propose advanced JVM and language features. At the moment JEP 169 – Value Types and JEP 218 – Generics over Primitive Types are the incubated ideas.
